The Club's Coldest Night Team walked on Feb 22nd - so members could volunteer at the main event on Saturday. With 2 days to go - Club team is in the top 10 Rotary teams in Canada.
This year is the 9th year for the Coldest Night of the Year Walk in the Comox Valley, where it is fund-raiser for the Comox Valley Transition Society and Dawn to Dawn Action on Homelessness Society. These two local NGO's support the most vulnerable in out community. The Rotary Club has particiapted every year. We often do a snowshoe walk but with a lcoak of snow opted for a walk aroudn our airpark with a refreshment social at the Ace Brewery in Courtemay.
